Part of Larrivee’s Mahogany Recording Series, the D-03 features solid-wood construction, built to the same standards as the company’s top-end instruments. This muscular dreadnought was crafted from spruce-topped mahogany, and it boasts a hand-fit dovetail joint for superior fit and maximum sustain. Modern X-bracing ensures a genre-fluid sound that works well in a myriad of applications. The D-03’s comfortable mahogany neck features an easy-playing ebony fingerboard, complete with a bone nut and compensated bone saddles for optimal intonation. The Larrivee D-03 is also a real looker by virtue of its maple-bound trim, multi-strip purfling, herringbone rosette, tortoise pickguard, and head-turning satin finish.
